Meet Our Team
Fiddler’s Green gives residents the life they deserve through all-inclusivity, simple pleasures, and the freedom to make their own choices. Who we are and what we do would not be possible without a strong, passionate team. Our management team members are an essential part of the Fiddler’s Green brand and embody the support and sense of community we offer at each of our locations.
Management

Don joined Fiddler’s Green in February 2022 as the Executive Director. He comes to the organization with 28 years of healthcare experience in the senior living industry, with 15 years experience in facility administration. As the Executive Director, Don is responsible for the overall success of the organization, including the oversight of operations, staffing, and all other departments.
Throughout his career, Don has been passionate about the quality of life of the seniors he serves. As an Executive Director, Don has always been committed to promoting a positive culture and environment for seniors, facility staff, and everyone involved in the community. A positive culture and a warm and safe environment are the qualities that helps all who live and work there a sense of “home”.
Growing up in Mid-Michigan, Don graduated from Lapeer Community Schools and went on to study Healthcare Administration at Michigan State University. When Don is away from his duties as Executive Director, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and new grandson. On his personal time, he enjoys, music, movies, writing, and working on home improvement or in the workshop.

With a background in operations, sales and marketing and a degree from Western Michigan University, Rob comes to us with vast experience in the senior living industry. His role entails informing the public of what Fiddler’s Green is and offers, as well as signing up tenants to live in both of our locations (Corunna and Bad Axe).
In his free time, Rob keeps busy with his family and enjoys outdoor activities, including gardening and attending community events. He is originally from the Detroit area but relocated to Shiawassee County for work. Rob and his wife of seventeen years, Jane, live in Owosso and have a teenage daughter that attends Owosso High School. His family also includes two dogs.
When speaking with Rob, it is evident that he radiates a passion for his position. His favorite aspect of Fiddler’s Green is that he gets to participate in the mission to help our seniors and veterans, not only in our small community but all over the state.

Liz joined the Fiddler’s team in the summer of 2019 and has been managing the Bad Axe location ever since. While her title is the “general manager” she truly is the jack of all trades and can often be found helping in the kitchen or coordinating plans for the tenants. As part of the administrative team, Liz is often called upon to assist with events and decisions for both Fiddler’s Green locations (Corunna and Bad Axe). Her input and contributions are valuable to the team and community.
Liz and her husband of thirty years, Dave, are locals to the area and have been business owners for nearly thirty years. She has three grown children and one granddaughter, all of which keep her plenty busy and active. With the second grandchild on the way, she said “I don’t have many hobbies other than being with my family and working.” Her passion for Fiddler’s Green and its mission is obvious in her dedication to the organization.
